On August 4, 2026, an Air India Airbus A320 aircraft experienced a sudden altitude variation during cruise and landed safely at Delhi. Injuries were reported to 20 passengers and four cabin crew members. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has taken up the investigation in accordance with ICAO protocols.
