DRI foils Saudi-bound methamphetamine shipment, seizes 56 kg contraband, arrests two

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) foiled a major attempt to illegally export a significant quantity of Methamphetamine from India to Saudi Arabia, recovering 56 kg of the contraband drug from the Nava Sheva Port. Two persons were arrested under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. The attempt was made by mixing Methamphetamine with maize in one of the bags in the consignment.
