The Department of Atomic Energy and HBCSE, a National Centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), have been working together to nurture exceptional scientific and mathematical talent. Indian students won 12 Gold and 7 Silver Medals in the International Olympiads 2026. The young Olympiad achievers were honoured as Special Guests at the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort.
